Looking for fun things to do this spring? Well, you’re in luck! This article will introduce you to six interesting must-visit spots in Boston around springtime.
Japanese Garden:
The Japanese Garden, also known as the“Garden of the heart of heaven,” is a peaceful retreat perfect for family and friends of all ages. In addition to that, it is wheelchair accessible and all-inclusive, so that everybody can enjoy the magic. The goal of this garden is to show the world the marvelous scenes that nature can create. This garden mix both Japanese and New England landscapes from the rocky coastline to zen gardens. It’s definitely worth checking out this season.
Tutugether:
At Tutugether, you can create whatever comes to your mind. The store offers crafting, spin painting, tufting, and decoden. Spin art involves using a spinning canvas to give your art new designs. Tufting is making art from rugs that you can take home and use. Finally, decoden includes turning objects into vibrant masterpieces with charms and colors. The memorable experience also gives you a lifelong souvenir, and is located in Boston on Newbury Street.
View Boston:
Interested in seeing Boston in 360? Visit View Boston this spring to do just that! 52 floors up, you’ll get panoramic views of the city from every angle. Don’t miss The Lookout to get an even better view of the city skyline – which will be especially stunning in spring. To get there, stop by the Prudential Tower and travel up the elevator. Be sure to check out the other floors, too – there’s plenty more to discover on each one.
Little Words Project:
Aiming to be creative this spring? Visit the Little Words Project store in the Boston Seaport. Here, you can make your own charm bracelets for yourself, friends, or family! With tons of beads and charms to choose from, you can personalize your bracelet to make them really your own. These can make perfect spring gifts and are a great way to start the season with custom style! Prices range from $25 to $65 for each experience. You can choose a single, which is making just one bracelet, a double, where you can make two, and a triple, which, if you haven’t guessed already, is making three cute customized charm bracelets. And, bracelets aren’t the only way to express your creativity at Little Words – anklets are also an option for anyone wanting some unique flair!
James P. Kelleher Rose Garden:
If you’re ever in the downtown Fenway area during the spring/summer months, consider stepping into a real life fairytale and visit the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden. As the days get longer and the air gets warmer, this small garden explodes with vibrant pinks and reds, covering almost every bit of space. You can explore the different pathways, look at the detailed statues and fountains, and take pictures under the beautiful arches of roses. Plus, admission is free! When you’re done admiring the flora and fauna, you can explore the rest of the Fenway Neighborhood, packed with museums, restaurants, and famous landmarks.
Museum Of Ice Cream:
If you’re someone who would prefer to explore more interactive exhibits over quiet museums, (and someone who enjoys eating ice cream, of course), the Museum of Ice Cream is perfect for you. Located in Seaport, its Boston location just recently opened and has already become very popular. Each room uses CGI, greenscreens, and colorful visuals to lead you through a new, exciting experience, where you can play games, solve puzzles, and take photos. Also, for each new room, you get a new flavor of ice cream and can slide down a slide into a giant sprinkle ball pit, and (if you’re brave enough) even try lobster flavored ice cream. This is a great day trip for families or friend groups, as there are so many fun new things to try, as well as great places to take cool pictures.
